Robyn Owens’ practice areas include insurance defense, premises liability, and workers’ compensation. Ms. Owens obtained her B.S. in Business Education from Middle Tennessee State University. She earned her J.D. in 2008 from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama where she was Senior Articles Editor for the Southern Regional BLSA Law Journal; Vice- President of the Student Bar Association; member of the Trial Advocacy Board; Research Associate for LexisNexis; Volunteer Educator for Street Law, Alabama Center for Law & Civic Education; and Trial Specialist for the Regional BLSA Trial Competition. She was a Semifinalist in the S.A.A.D. Moot Court Competition; a Quarterfinalist in the James O. Haley Trial and BLSA Trial Competitions. Before joining the firm, Ms. Owens was a litigation attorney at Miller & Martin, PLLC practicing in the areas of insurance defense and employment law. Professional affiliations include: Tennessee Bar Association; Napier Looby Bar Association; and the Metro-Davidson County and Rutherford County, Tennessee CABLE Professional Women’s Network. Bar admissions include U.S. District Court, Middle & Western Districts of Tennessee and all Tennessee State Courts. Robyn Owens also presented "Is Your Work Protected From Disclosure? The Law of Privilege in Tennessee" at the Forensic & Valuation Services Conference sponsored by the Tennessee Society of Certified Accountants.
